Ingredients:

  • Half a cup of milk (no added sweeteners)
  • A teaspoon of turmeric
  • Grated ginger according to taste
  • A half teaspoon of cinnamon
  • A pinch of black pepper
  • A teaspoon of organic honey or maple syrup if you prefer something sweeter.

Method:

All you need to do is combine all these items together in a pan and let the mixture boil. Then lower the flame and allow it to simmer for a few minutes till you can smell the fragrance and taste the flavors. After straining it into your cup you can add a little bit of cinnamon as a topping. This mixture can be kept in the fridge for five days and warmed up as and when it is required.
