10 Signs You Should Stop Eating Gluten Immediately

A common cause of aching joints and knees is inflammation. Gluten can result in an increase in swelling of the body for some people.

Irregular digestion

Continuous irregular digestion is one of the common symptoms. Others include bloating, excessive gas, diarrhea, and constipation.

Autoimmune diseases:

Whenever an individual suffers from gluten intolerance but continues to consume a gluten-rich diet, the body assumes that it is being attacked. Different autoimmune diseases can result including, arthritis, psoriasis, lupus, and multiple sclerosis.

Chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia:

Fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue usually imply that the real cause of the fatigue has not been identified. Sensitivity to gluten may play a role in fatigue and may be the actual cause.

Constant and severe exhaustion:

A feeling of constant and severe exhaustion, tiredness or fog where important decisions may be difficult could be also a sign that something is not alright.

Hormonal imbalances:

People who are sensitive to gluten can suffer excessive inflammation too. Such inflammation places a demand on the adrenal glands which when stressed cannot operate efficiently. The adrenal gland will eventually malfunction, and this will give rise to hormonal imbalance.

Intense and Migraine Headaches:

There are lots of migraine triggers, one of which is gluten intolerance. Studies suggest that individuals who are diagnosed with it can trigger intense migraines and intense headaches when they eat large amounts of gluten. This is as a result of the increase in the swelling of the nervous system.

Neurological Symptoms:

Excessive inflammation of the body can bring about neurological symptoms such as vertigo and dizziness, tingling and numbness in the extremities.

Do not assume that manifesting one of these symptoms implies that you are sensitive to gluten as they may be caused by other reasons.
